Overview
Zencare is seeking a Director of Growth Strategy to execute the growth strategy across both sides of our marketplace: therapy seekers and providers/practices. This role is accountable for setting growth priorities, allocating investment, and focusing the organization on the highest‑impact opportunities across acquisition and conversion.
This is a senior strategy role that sets direction and priorities, while enabling strong execution through close partnership with the CMO and Digital Marketing Manager, who owns hands‑on execution across core digital channels and with Product. The Director leads decision‑making on what to invest in, what to deprioritize, and why, while managing content as a core, compounding growth lever.
The ideal candidate brings experience with both marketplace and B2B growth, and has a track record of setting clear tactics that activates teams to move fast and smart.

Core Responsibilities
Growth Strategy and Decision‑Making
- Define marketing strategy across therapy seekers and providers, with a clear point of view on which levers matter most and why.
- Set quarterly priorities and investment direction, grounded in data, experimentation, and marketplace dynamics.
- Implement integrated campaigns to drive consumer and provider engagement.
- Identify new growth opportunities adjacent to existing strengths (e.g., content‑led acquisition, referrals, product‑assisted discovery).
Consumer Growth (Strategic Ownership)
- Own the strategic model for therapy seekers, including how acquisition, trust, referrals, and conversion work together.
- Partner closely with the Digital Marketing Manager to:
- Set direction for SEO, organic, referral, and paid efforts
- Pressure‑test prioritization and experimentation plans
- Diagnose performance and unblock execution
- Collaborate with Product to improve discovery, matching, and conversion across the consumer journey.
Provider Growth (Marketplace Strategy)
- Own the strategic approach to provider acquisition and activation.
- Define target segments and growth opportunities in partnership with Product.
- Identify non‑touch acquisition levers (content, product signals, partnerships).
- Ensure provider growth aligns with and strengthens the consumer marketplace.
Content as a Growth System
- Set a clear content strategy tied directly to growth outcomes (SEO, trust, education, demand creation).
- Ensure content investment compounds over time.
- Align content messaging and relevancy with consumer acquisition and provider demand.
Analytics, Experimentation and Operating Cadence
- Establish disciplined decision frameworks for experimentation and evaluation.
- Lead ongoing reviews with senior stakeholders, centered on insights and data driven decisions.
What We’re Looking For
- 7+ years in growth or marketplace marketing roles with clear ownership of acquisition and conversion strategy.
- Understanding and execution of SEO‑led, content‑driven, or marketplace growth models.
- Proven experience setting strategy and enabling strong execution through integrated marketing campaigns.
- Strong product intuition and experience partnering with Product teams on funnel performance and UX.

- Campaigns and content execution grounded in marketplace dynamics, funnel economics, and compounding acquisition levers.
- Strong velocity across initiatives through prioritization and effective partnerships with Product and the Digital Marketing Manager.
- Content that materially contributes to organic acquisition, trust, and marketplace liquidity.
