Director, Growth Marketing (Canada)

(Remote, Canada)

About the Role

We’re seeking a Director of Growth Marketing to lead strategy and execution for Owl Practice’s B2B go-to-market efforts in Canada. This is a hands-on leadership role for a builder who can move smoothly from defining strategy to executing campaigns and analyzing performance.

You will partner cross-functionally to drive measurable growth, optimize the full funnel, and scale acquisition through experimentation and data-driven decision-making. This role is equally comfortable developing strategy, managing integrated campaigns, and diving deep into performance data to uncover insights and opportunities.

Responsibilities

B2B Growth and EHR Adoption

  • Own and execute demand generation strategies targeting mental health practitioners in solo and small-group practices.
  • Build and optimize multi-channel acquisition funnels with a focus on key metrics, including trials, trial-to-paid conversion, CPL, CAC, and LTV.
  • Develop and refine the growth model for therapy seekers, aligning acquisition, trust, referrals, and conversion into a cohesive system.

Performance Marketing & Experimentation

  • Lead cross-channel performance marketing efforts, including paid search, paid social, CTV, affiliate, and programmatic.
  • Establish a culture of rapid, disciplined experimentation by designing tests, analyzing results, and scaling what works.
  • Continuously evaluate and expand channel mix to unlock new growth opportunities.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Partner closely with Product and Customer Success to improve conversion, onboarding, and retention through funnel optimization.
  • Collaborate with the Digital Marketing Manager to:
    • Set strategy across SEO, organic, referral, and paid channels
    • Refine prioritization and experimentation roadmaps
    • Diagnose performance issues and remove execution blockers

Ownership & Accountability

  • Own growth KPIs and marketing budget; manage agencies and external partners effectively.
  • Lead regular business reviews, delivering clear insights and actionable recommendations to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of growth marketing experience with a proven track record of driving measurable business outcomes.
  • Strong B2B demand generation expertise across SMB and enterprise segments; experience leading geographic expansion is a plus.
  • Deep knowledge of performance marketing channels and scaling strategies.
  • Demonstrated success partnering cross-functionally on conversion optimization and funnel experimentation.
  • Highly execution-oriented with a bias for action and agility.
  • Strong analytical mindset combined with creativity and a passion for improving and innovating the customer experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, with experience presenting to senior leadership.
  • Experience managing agencies and external partners.

Preferred

  • Background in healthcare, mental health, or regulated industries.
  • Familiarity with EHR or other provider-focused SaaS products.
