Senior Digital Growth & SEO Manager (Marketplace / Search)

Reports to: Chief Marketing Officer (CMO)

Overview

Zencare is hiring a Senior Digital Growth Manager to own and scale our highest‑intent consumer acquisition channels, with a primary focus on SEO, landing pages, directory/search performance, and consumer referral growth.

Reporting directly to the CMO, this is a senior‑level, hands‑on role for a performance‑oriented digital marketer who combines strategic judgment with the ability to execute. You will be responsible for building and optimizing the full organic and referral funnel, from first search impression through therapist message or booking, and treating SEO and referrals as performance channels with measurable ROI.

This role is ideal for someone who has worked on search‑driven marketplaces or directory sites, knows how to scale landing pages and technical SEO, and can turn high‑intent demand into repeatable, compounding growth.

Scope

  • End‑to‑end ownership of organic and referral‑driven consumer growth:
     search → landing page → directory/search experience → message or booking
  • Ownership of technical SEO and landing page performance for a large, dynamic marketplace
  • Ownership of consumer referral growth as a scalable, performance channel
  • Drive prioritization, experimentation roadmap, and channel tradeoffs
  • Accountable for traffic quality, conversion rates, and downstream marketplace impact

Key Responsibilities

Performance‑Driven SEO & Acquisition

  • Own and execute the SEO growth strategy, with a strong emphasis on traffic quality, conversion, and long‑term ROI
  • Drive keyword and demand opportunity analysis, mapping high‑intent queries to landing pages, directory pages, and on‑site search experiences
  • Treat SEO as a performance channel: forecast impact, measure outcomes, and continuously optimize

Technical SEO & Marketplace Foundations

  • Lead technical SEO execution for a large directory marketplace, including:
    • Site architecture and internal linking
    • Indexation and crawl optimization
    • Page templates and structured data
    • Core Web Vitals and performance
  • Partner closely with Engineering and Product to ensure new features and templates scale cleanly for search

Landing Pages & Programmatic Growth

  • Design, launch, and optimize high‑conversion landing pages aligned to consumer intent (location, specialty, need state, etc.)
  • Own programmatic SEO initiatives, balancing scale with quality, relevance, and conversion
  • Continuously test and improve page structure, messaging, CTAs, and trust signals

Directory, Search & Conversion Optimization

  • Own the growth performance of directory and on‑site search pages
  • Partner with Product to improve filters, ranking logic, navigation, and UX to increase engagement and bookings
  • Run structured CRO experiments across organic entry points and high‑intent flows

Consumer Referrals as a Performance Channel

  • Own and scale consumer referral growth, treating referrals as a measurable, optimizable acquisition channel
  • Test and iterate on referral mechanics, incentives, placement, and messaging
  • Partner with Product and Marketing to integrate referrals naturally into the consumer journey
  • Measure referral contribution to CAC, conversion, and LTV

Measurement & Insight

  • Own growth reporting and analysis for SEO and referrals, tying channel performance to bookings and marketplace health
  • Diagnose underperformance, form hypotheses, and execute focused experiments
  • Surface insights and recommendations clearly to the CMO and cross‑functional partners

What We’re Looking For

  • 7-10+ years of experience in digital growth, performance marketing, or SEO with direct ownership of results
  • Deep, hands‑on experience with technical SEO and landing page optimization for large sites
  • Experience treating organic and referral channels as performance channels
  • Strong understanding of search intent, directory sites, and marketplace UX
  • Demonstrated ability to balance strategy and hands‑on execution
  • Data‑driven, experimental mindset with comfort operating in ambiguity
  • Experience partnering closely with Product and Engineering
  • Bonus:
    • Experience with two‑sided marketplaces or search‑driven platforms
    • Experience in healthcare, mental health, or trust‑sensitive consumer categories

  • Strong, trusted partnership with the CMO, Product, and Engineering teams

Compensation:
This role is budgeted for a competitive, senior‑level base salary, with additional performance upside.  The expected range for U.S. remote candidates is $135,000 – $150,000, depending on experience and skill depth.
