Practice Consultant, Groups

Remote (U.S. based)

If the opportunity to fundamentally change the mental health landscape and improve how people across North America access the help that they need excites you – then keep reading. We are enabling better access and easier delivery of mental health care to help more people.

We are looking for a Practice Consultant, Groups to lead and expand our group practice sales efforts across the United States. This is an exceptionally entrepreneurial role that offers a rare opportunity to build a group-focused sales function from the ground up and build your own business inside our company. This person will be our first hire focused on group practices, and will need to go beyond being an outstanding consultative seller. Working with and reporting directly to our VP of Sales, we’re looking for someone who is excited by the challenge and the inherent ambiguity in building a new function from scratch.

As the first point of contact for provider groups interested in working with us, you’ll need to quickly build rapport, understand providers current practices and goals, effectively explain our suite of products, sell consultatively, and share your insights across the team. You’ll need to craft innovative outreach strategies, experiment with new ways to connect with group owners and decision makers, run a thoughtful and effective sales process, and communicate what is and is not working,

What You’ll Do:

  • Work with a mix of outbound (90%) and inbound (10%) leads, with a primary focus on building and scaling our group practice sales pipeline.
  • Actively reach out to group practices to understand their pain points running private practices and schedule time to chat.
  • Run a strategic, consultative sales process tailored to the unique needs of group practices, whether they need help finding new patients, changing EHRs, submitting claims or VOBs (INN or OON), or some combination of the above, or some other as-yet-unknown service.
  • Manage an extremely well organized schedule and pipeline, and keep internal stakeholders apprised of group sales processes.
  • Work closely with senior leaders in marketing and product to inform how we reach out to and support the needs of group practices.
  • Become the expert. We need you to have strong beliefs backed by anecdotes and data about what groups need and how we can best support them

As Our Ideal Candidate, You’ll Have:

  • 2+ years of direct experience selling to therapists or mental health providers is required; experience with group practices and tools like EHRs or telehealth platforms is strongly preferred.
  • The ability to connect with people and build genuine rapport quickly, multiple times a day, and with a consistently high energy level.
  • A strong entrepreneurial mindset. You’re excited to experiment, build, and shape how we go to market with group practices.
  • An ownership mentality. You’ll tell us what you need to be successful, and you’ll help us define what success looks like.
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to manage your pipeline, prioritize outreach, and execute daily tasks without sacrificing quality.
  • Exceptional work ethic, internal motivation, and personal accountability.
  • A clear understanding that things change quickly in a start-up, and a demonstrated ability to excel and grow in the face of changing needs and responsibilities.
  • A sincere desire to help therapists and groups run better practices, and to help therapy seekers find the right support.
