Absolutely! Owl allows you to create invoices and receipts to track all outstanding billing, no matter what payment method your client uses. If you are not processing a payment in the system, you can specify what method your client paid with. Our system lets you report on this information as well.
The only costs for Stripe are the fees on transactions. Stripe charges 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction for credit cards, and 0.1% + $0.30 for each ACH transaction. There is no overhead cost for the service, and it’s included on every Owl Practice subscription plan.
Currently, clients can only add their credit card to their profile on the client portal. All payments are conducted by the practitioner within Owl. This helps make things easier on the practitioner, especially when using our Auto Pay feature (as it requires no manual work on your part!). You’ll never have to wait for their clients to pay them–when using Auto-pay your accounts receivable is always completely in your control.
