Owl Practice Suite is looking for an experienced marketer to own our consumer marketing strategy. The Marketing Manager’s primary responsibility is to create and execute grassroots marketing efforts that reach new therapy-seekers, encourage them to book appointments with their ideal therapist and get reimbursed. This position reports to the Chief Marketing Officer.

You’ll be leading the strategy to further establish our brands as market leaders in helping individuals access and pay for therapy. Your success is measured by your ability to reach new individuals looking for mental health care and supporting them to connect with therapists in our directories, understand the costs, and get reimbursed quickly.

You will own the entirety of the client marketing funnel, from brand awareness to engagement and conversion. You’ll collaborate with the product team and advocate for features that enhance the client experience at each stage of their help-seeking journey.

YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

  • Drive holistic consumer growth by increasing the volume of clients that book through our directories and apps
  • Boost customer reach, and conversion by integrating top, mid, and low funnels for a seamless customer journey across all touchpoints
  • Grow our current marketing channels with strong unit economics by investing in our execution, experimentation processes, and creative content.
  • Collaborate with leaders on the product and therapist side of the business to plan and deliver strategic platform growth based on marketplace dynamics
  • Deliver impactful, high-converting creative and messaging into the market that aligns with our brand and mission
  • Expand and develop new channels to reach individuals looking for therapy
  • Drive strong client lifetime value by incorporating new ways to engage with clients during and after therapy.
  • Turn data insights into actionable next steps by leveraging our analytics infrastructure and further develop our reporting to ensure our marketing mix is highly profitable and scaling.

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

  • 4+ years of experience in performance and lifecycle marketing, with depth in paid social, SEO, SEM, and referrals
  • 2+ years in a marketing role at an early-stage DTC/B2C company
  • Proven track record of delivering rapid growth with tight CPA goals
  • Experience developing new core messages and overseeing highly converting creative production
  • Experience successfully launching new scalable marketing channels
  • Very strong analytical skills, and ability to use analytics tools (e.g. Looker, Heap, GA4) to inform insights and strategy, including channel attribution and customer acquisition cost
  • Expertise in content optimization for search and email marketing including excellent writing skills, creativity, brand attunement, a strong eye for detail, and an excited energy to test new marketing strategies.
  • Experience in developing partnerships and managing affiliates, influencer and referral programs.
  • Demonstrated collaboration skills, including navigating a matrix organization and managing external vendors and consultants.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset used to making a lot happen with limited resources and structure.
  • Equally comfortable looking at a bird’s eye view and getting your hands dirty.

BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:

  • Experience in the health or wellness industry
  • Understanding of the US insurance and benefits process
  • Preferred platform familiarity: Google AdWords; Customer.io or other automated emailing; Ghost or other CMS; Later, Canva, BeeFree or other social media design and management tools.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

  • Compensation: $65K – $85K per year
  • Company-sponsored health insurance, life insurance, and short-term disability insurance
